Walk down stairs and turn right. Enjoy!

Great place for dressing up and taking pictures. Food was good. I love the idea of having foods from different countries. Felt like I was on vacation visiting different countries. Would go again

Nice date night restaurant with great ambiance. Service was excellent and food was different but really good.

This was not a good experience. We dined at the bar. And the experience at the bar was not good.

We were notified by the service staff of that bar teams condition and sent him home immediately. Our deepest apologies. This has never in 8 years happened. We are having a very serious meeting with that staff member tomorrow. His job is on the line.

The concept and the decor of the restaurant were very cool. I especially liked the rotating concept of different parts of the world. With that said, I thought the execution was just ok. Tried quite a few dishes, and only one was worth coming back for in my view. Perhaps the next menu will be more to my liking…

The food tasted great but my dish was served with three fruit flies on it and flying around the dish. Also, my potatoes were cold.

Amy, we are having a building wide issue with the fruit flies. We truly apologize. If any dish was not to temp, please notify your server at once, and we will correct the issue.

We had to wait 25 minutes past our reservation time. We were told that the server was busy with a large party and wasn’t available. There were available tables in other sections of the restaurant, however, the hostess didn’t seat us there. We ordered the Duck Confit appetizer. There was an over abundance of barbecue sauce on the meat and plate. The meat could’ve been any kind of meat because you could only taste barbecue sauce. The bread that was served with the duck was inedible, as it was hard and stale. It cut the roof of my mouth. The scallops were very sandy. The Carne Asada, according to the menu, was only served at a medium temp. It came out well done and chewy. Overall, we were very disappointed with the food. The environment was lovely.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your visit. We were short staffed that evening due to a family emergency of one of our team. An empty table needs a server to tend to it. We genuinely want you to have a great experience here. The crostinis are made daily, sliced and put in the oven with sea salt and cracked black pepper. They are meant to be hard, not soft. The temp error on your Carne Asada was removed from your bill before you received it. Every blue moon, we may have a perfect storm of hiccups. So sorry. We can ensure you have a smoother visit in the future if you decide to return one day.

This was our first time at The Consulate but it won't be our last. The food was excellent and our server Daniel provided great service. He helped us (and the table next to us) navigate the menu. Very much on the plus side, the menu described the food with extreme precision and accuracy- if the description sounds like you might not like something, then don't order it because you are going to get exactly what was described. The restaurant is beautiful, and despite being fairly busy was comfortable and still felt intimate. Validated parking in the secure parking lot was a huge plus.
