This was one of the best meals we've ever had at any restaurant. First and foremost, the service was excellent. Evan was our waiter, and he did an effortlessly phenomenal job -- including recommending a Willamette Valley Pinot that I can't remember because I'm old. 🤔 Jason bussed our table, and while you usually don't really take note of the busboy (apologies to busboys everywhere), Jason not only did a remarkably conscientious job, but he was also very personable AND reminded us, at each visit to the table, to let him know if we needed anything. I've never had a busboy do anything beyond quietly remove the dishes. Jason was as terrific as a busboy can possibly be. And then there's the food. We each had an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert; each course was better than the last, and they started off EXCELLENT -- which means, by the time we got to the desserts, they were simply to die for! We shared all three of the desserts among us, and we couldn't decide which one we liked the best. The birthday girl says, "All three of them were AMAZING." She's right. The restaurant, itself, is pretty basic -- but that's the only thing about The Conche that's 'basic.' This was our first time here, and we absolutely loved it. The Conche is a bit of a drive for us, but totally worth it, and we will definitely be back. The Conche came to us on a recommendation, and the recommendation included, "Do NOT miss their desserts." That was an excellent piece of advice -- if you've never been to The Conche, go in with the expectation that, no matter what happens (fire, flood, brimstone, earthquake, whatever), YOU ARE HAVING DESSERT. Take it to go if you have to -- but do not miss it. Oh, and make a reservation, especially if it's a Saturday evening. Otherwise you might end up having dinner at the Italian joint next door. 😉 Enjoy The Conche. You will not regret it (unless you miss dessert).

Everything we had was perfect. My fiancé and I each went for the 3 course menu, so we tried a bit of everything. For apps we had calamari and crispy sweet and sour cauliflower. Both delicious, if I had to pick one it would be the calamari. It melted in your mouth and the sauce was great. I had the salmon and loved it, would order again. For dessert, the guava cheesecake was so good but I don’t think you can go wrong with any dessert here. Our server Salvador was the star of the show. He was so kind and attentive. I would be happy to sit with him again. We will definitely be back.

We went to The Conche to celebrate my daughter’s engagement. It was a wonderful experience. Everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. We shared some appetizers and everyone had a different entree. Management came over to extend their congratulations as well. My daughter and her fiancé’s desserts were decorated with congratulations! The food, atmosphere and drinks were fantastic!! I would definitely recommend The Conche to everyone.

This is our first time at this restaurant which a friend had gifted to us for our anniversary. when we arrived and was seated towards the back of the restaurant, there were two other tables in the back beside us who by the way were finishing the end of their meal. Later on three other families came in and were seated. Those families were all served their drinks, appetizer, and dinner before us. Even though we were there before them and had already placed our order. When I asked our waitress about it she stated “that’s just how the tickets were in the kitchen” and walked off. We spoke to a manager, who is very nice, but unfortunately, our experience was already extremely diminished. I want to add that we were the only African-Americans there, but I am hoping that this was not the reason why! Being married to an NFL player and having a food blog we have visited countless restaurants whether it’s personal,business meetings or just to try something new with our family members and we have never experienced this before. It truly left a a bad impression .

Loved the ambiance of the restaurant, it was very cozy. Our waitress was great, although it took a while to get our cocktails and refills (possibly a bar issue). The food was outstanding and the dessert was to die for. I would definitely come back for a birthday or special celebration. We ate the following and all was delicious: crispy calamari appetizer, pork belly buns, lobster and grits, braised short rib, lamb shank, soufflé, and manjari.

Found this little restaurant when we came into town for the Harry Potter exhibit. The food is AMAZING. Service was great and friendly. This may be my new favorite spot!
