Originally known as the Johnson-Wolfe Farm, the Comus Inn today is a historic 1860s farmhouse situated on just over five acres of the Maryland Agricultural Reserve, three miles and a world away from the bustling I-270 travel corridor. A farm-centric American tavern; a family-friendly beer and wine garden; and unimpeded views of Sugarloaf Mountain, welcome travelers and neighbors alike to enjoy delicious food, top-notch drinks, and good company year-round.

    disappointed with the new owner, They got rid of all the games in the back they used to have. Menu is definitely more casual. The food sat in the kitchen for a long time as you can clearly tell from sunny side up eggs and wilted food. Water was nasty. When we asked about the water, they had just treated the water and I'm thinking shouldn't you have run that water before serving to customers. Sad. Used to love Comus Inn.

    The newest iteration of the Comus Inn is in my opinion a winner. The food was excellent and the service superb. And the sunset views from the dining room were great as well. I’d definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

    We always enjoy our experience at The Comus Inn. The staff is friendly while also professional, and the brunch food choices are interesting and well-prepared. We were sad to see the chicken and waffles disappear from the brunch menu, though. All in all, highly recommended!

    My hamburger was overcooked and brought without lettuce or tomato, and the meat had a funny taste.

    Excellent food and service. Table was in the sun and there are no shades so got very hot by the time we were finished but overall a nice place

    Very noisy, beautiful view. Menu didn’t describe food properly, ‘roast chicken’ should have been described as leg & thigh only. Salads were great, entree’s not so much. Mussels were good, salmon very overcooked, waiter didn’t ask for ‘doneness’. Insufficient wines, warm or not available, although warm wine was replaced, but wine selection very limited. Foccacia bread ok, too salty. Seems as though although just opened, should focus on dining food - not an array of ‘farm to table’ which was on;t applicable to salads. Shades need to be applied to windows - although said they were forthcoming. Beautiful view, but too pricey for the food, way too noisy in the dining room, and wine selections desperately need improvement.
