Originally known as the Johnson-Wolfe Farm, the Comus Inn today is a historic 1860s farmhouse situated on just over five acres of the Maryland Agricultural Reserve, three miles and a world away from the bustling I-270 travel corridor. I would go back in a heartbeat. We went to the dining room inside and everything was absolutely delicious. I had the Bavarian pretzel stuffed with crab meat and cheese, which was so unique and very yummy. I also had the shrimp pesto and we shared the dark chocolate cake. Outside had a really nice vibe. There was live music and seats with the view of the mountains and a beautiful sunset. The menu is a taco bar. The ambience inside isn’t much to speak of, but you also get of view of the mountain, but not as good as you as outside.

The food was great for the price point! We had a great waitress which made the experience that much better. Overall I’ll definitely be going back.

The food was delicious. The fact that the two of us at our table had to shout to each other to be heard was terrible. Because of the noise, it was NOT a fine dining experience. We won't return unless the noise level goes down.

The dining room has a lovely view of Sugarloaf Mountain. Our server was delightful -- super pleasant and efficient. Our food was delicious -- we had the burrata salad, Scotch egg, mushroom entree and bucatini with pesto and shrimp entree. Everything was delicious. We will definitely return.

A beautiful restaurant and property. Enjoyed our visit and the outdoor music. Not a big selection for the menu tho. I’d like to see a few more options but what we had was very good.

Had a lovely dinner upstairs in the dining room bar area. Fantastic bartender and great service all around. The food was great and reasonably priced. We loved the mussels and steak and can’t wait to go back and try the crab pretzel (happy hour special) fish dip and butter salad, they looked amazing coming out of the kitchen. We will definitely be back soon.

Initially. we were seated in the dining room and it was loud. The hostess was happy to move our seating to another area and we couldn't have been happier with the arrangement. Had an amazing server, who was attentive and engaging, making our experience great. The food was very good and fairly priced and having the Olympics on was an added bonus. We will return another time to see what the chef creates. The goat cheese cornbread was memorable with the catfish special!

We were underwhelmed by the food, however the service was outstanding (Mateo was our server). We ate inside and the atmosphere was good, however the noise level very high, so much we were yelling at each other across the table.
