    The food was absolutely delicious it far exceeded my expectations as I did go to the commoner many many years ago and didn’t love the food previously. My date and I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, next time I would only ask that the sauce drenching the chicken be on the side but the chicken peice itself was massive and absolutely perfectly cooked, really great sandwich and fries. My partner agreed and we have tried a lot of fried chicken dishes. The service was fantastic, servers were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The glass of wine I order was delish, I will definitely be going back.

    I made a reservation for Father’s Day at 2:15pm and in the comments section I stated that we require a patio seat since we have a dog. When I arrived the unpleasant and unhelpful host basically told me that she couldn’t help me that there are no patio seats and even if there were the kitchen was closing soon for brunch. I had to escalate this to the manager who found space for us on the patio. Within 20 min of being there the whole patio section cleared and there were more than 7 tables available to pick from. But yet 20 min earlier the unpleasant host was going to send me and my family home on Father’s Day with zero care and/or remorse. This was the most unpleasant experience on such a special day. It ruined the day for us. Very disappointed to say the least!!!!

    Our family had a great time. The food and service were on point and the kids really enjoyed their burgers. Admittedly the fries could use a bit of help.. just a suggestion. We all enjoyed the classic cozy ambience and the snappy dubbed cocktails. And the kids certainly felt included with their mocktails! Perfect spot to enjoy a midweek family night or casual night out with friends. We will certainly be back. Thank you
