First time here. Our server, Josh, gets five stars. He could not have been more polite, professional or attentive. Food was good - try the hush puppies. The only hiccup was I ordered my halibut with sauce on the side. All other plates arrived, but mine not for about five minutes later. Never a good sign with fish. I think the kitchen missed my sauce detail and my fish continued to cook during the wait. That’s my guess. Just slightly over cooked. The rest was great and the ambiance is nicely refreshed from previous decor.

Service was slow and poor. We were a table of 3. The waitress was nice but not attentive. Drinks took over 20 minutes once we finally got to order . One came then the others came 15 min later. Note the bar was right above us. Food took way to long and was sup bar. Seafood pasta had very little seafood in it. What was so disappointing is we were there for a family Birthday as was noted on the reservation but was not acknowledged. What makes it worse is that my Husband called in person to request a slice of Birthday cake and candle. It did not happen! We left sad and disappointed that we overpaid for a poor experience and did not have the Birthday Dinner we expected!

This was our first time at The Collective Offshore. We were really impressed by the quality and preparation of the food, though the prices were high (perhaps these days you can't have one without the other!) I ordered the crab claw lollipops -- they were soooooo decadent and came in a delicious broth -- be sure to squeeze fresh lemon juice over it! My husband and I shared everything we ordered. I got the fresh catch "Columbia" style (halibut filet) and my husband got the fresh catch "Kittamaqundi" style (whole branzino). Both fish were prepared perfectly, and OH MY goodness, the branzino was the best we've ever had. Tender and creamy, and simply prepared. We will definitely be back! Special shout-out to server Josh for making our visit extra special!

Food was great, especially the wings! Service was good, tho shorthanded. Had to move inside because of bees and lantern flies!

It took forever for our food to come out despite the small number of people there. When it did, it was not very hot.

We ate here for the first time on Sunday. It wasn't very busy but our waiter seemed a bit slow. We ordered the burrata appetizer and the crab lollipops, both were good. For our entree, we ordered the prime rib hash. The beef was supposed to be "shaved" and it was in chunks about one inch square. We thought the beef tasted old and the potatoes in the hash were deep fried chunks instead of shredded potatoes like a hash should have. Not good. We might consider trying them again, but were not impressed.

Went for a special birthday dinner for two. They exceeded my expectations. Menu variety was decent although not overly broad. Food was well prepared and very tasty. The Offshore went a bit too far trying to be regional. They went a touch overboard including Old Bay spice into too many dishes. Was not a problem having Old Bay omitted from the dishes we ordered. They apparently do not realize Marylanders do not put Old bay on everything. The one somewhat of an insult was a dessert listed as Smith Island Cake. It sounded delicious and I have no doubt it was delicious. It simply was not Smith Island Cake. Maybe from a recipe from someone who lives in a place called Smith Island but it was not a Maryland Smith Island cake.

First of all it was date night for hubby and I. We ordered 2 chicken dinners only got one. Waiting on the other mine got cold. My Chicken was too dry to eat. There was no type of compensation. Stated in reservation wanted to see musician. We were seated in the tent. Had to ask for closer seats which were available. Last Friday was so so much better in EVERY WAY and it was a group of 6

This was our 4th time dining there, and we’ve always been pleased. It’s so unusual to come across a menu that has so many gluten-free options, so we were very much looking forward to our meal. My husband had the beef, I had the crab cake. Both were over-salted. A bit disappointed. The service was outstanding, and dining outside was a plus. We’ll try again, and hope the chef is not so heavy-handed with the salt next time.

This is my second visit to this establishment. I was very excited for the ambiance and the atmosphere seemed very nice and the staff was friendly. On the first visit the server put in the wrong food order and that caused a delay of about 20min to get the right food. This second visit service was god but the food was not. The calamari was very salty and my order seafood pasta had a terrible burnt taste because the garlic was burnt. One of the managers brought out my plate and another person ordered the same food (theirs wasn’t burnt) with the obvious color difference I was saddened that the cook didn’t just remake the meal and that the manager didn’t have the meal remade.
