Chef Larry Jayasekara has approached the project as a custodian, preserving and enhancing the 4-story building. Classically trained but undefined by any particular style, Larry offers a cuisine that, at its core, is all about the joy of eating. Given his 20 years of experience in fine dining, he has curated relationships with a select list of fishers and artisan producers to source the finest ingredients in Britain and overseas. With access to regenerative mixed farmland in Northamptonshire, The Cocochine kitchen enjoys fruit, vegetables, seasonal flowers and livestock, including game as well as native and rare-breed pigs direct from the farm. The menu features modern and refined dishes such as Tanera Island Poached Langoustine Leek, Morel, Lemongrass and 40-day Aged Rowler Estate Beef Fillet Maitake, Red Wine Jus.
Every element of the restaurant is considered, and the experience, from the outset and throughout, is about personal connection and old-school hospitality.

    We had dinner there and it was truly outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Every single dish from the amuse-bouche, fish main to the chocolate caviar desert was delicious. Many thanks for an unforgettable experience and to the staff who made us feel so welcomed.

    Fantastic food and very good service but simply too expensive for what it is. c£300 a head for 3 courses each, a glass of champagne each, and 2 bottles of entry level burgundy. Would not return.

    Sat at the counter - watched the really talented chef team produce mouthwatering dishes. Service was above and beyond expectations - from the moment we got out of the taxi until the moment we left, and everything in between. The food was inventive but classic at the same time and all ingredients balanced each other, including the 91 ingredients in the amazing salad. A truly outstanding dining experience - Chef and co-owner Larry was gracious and informative, as was the rest of the team. Will definitely be back.

    Wow, what a find! The best dining experience I have had in London for a long time. The food is excellent, expertly created with great flavours and a twist in every dish… try the salad as well.. superb! Service really strong and it is great value…went to Hide recently… this is so much better!

    I’m absolutely humbled by the experience I just had at The Cocochine. Chef Larry Jayasekara presented a menu that left us speechless. The food, the service and the atmosphere were beyond anything we have ever experienced. I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon this newly opened restaurant by a seasoned chef. We were taken through such an unexpected and emotional journey… a pristine presentation yet a playful and joyful nature to every plated ingredient. Someone who truly loves creating and who loves food to its roots. It’s clear this restaurant is a space where the chef is bringing you into his passion for culinary ideas and flavors. He is bold, whimsical and curious. You can taste it in every bite, every dish. I have never smiled so much while eating. The chocolate dessert with caviar on top? How naughty! I can’t get over what a special experience this was. If you’re in London, go! Ask about the art, ask to see the wine cellar and ask the staff for their recommendations. You can’t go wrong. I will be shocked if this restaurant doesn’t have a Michelin star by 2025. Congrats on such a stunning restaurant, and thank you.
