Chef Larry Jayasekara has approached the project as a custodian, preserving and enhancing the 4-story building. Classically trained but undefined by any particular style, Larry offers a cuisine that, at its core, is all about the joy of eating. Given his 20 years of experience in fine dining, he has curated relationships with a select list of fishers and artisan producers to source the finest ingredients in Britain and overseas. With access to regenerative mixed farmland in Northamptonshire, The Cocochine kitchen enjoys fruit, vegetables, seasonal flowers and livestock, including game as well as native and rare-breed pigs direct from the farm. The menu features modern and refined dishes such as Tanera Island Poached Langoustine Leek, Morel, Lemongrass and 40-day Aged Rowler Estate Beef Fillet Maitake, Red Wine Jus. Every element of the restaurant is considered, and the experience, from the outset and throughout, is about personal connection and old-school hospitality.

Read great reviews but it was form over function and Mark up over special in the end. Wines, great list, but way overpriced at least 30% over what they should be. Food not as special as it could be rather bland and the Wellington at £30 extra per head you would expect a nice portion. We probably got theb2 people portion for 3 and half of it was overcooked.

Fabulous meal at this relatively new restaurant in the heart of Mayfair. The food was superb and great value. Much of the wine list was beyond my budget but there was enough to get by. Will definitely be back!!

What was an thoroughly enjoyable experience with attentive service was totally ruined by a racist interaction with what we believe was the manager of the restaurant. It was disgusting and would not advise anyone visit this restaurant. Extremely disappointing.

We had dinner there and it was truly outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Every single dish from the amuse-bouche, fish main to the chocolate caviar desert was delicious. Many thanks for an unforgettable experience and to the staff who made us feel so welcomed.

Fantastic food and very good service but simply too expensive for what it is. c£300 a head for 3 courses each, a glass of champagne each, and 2 bottles of entry level burgundy. Would not return.

Sat at the counter - watched the really talented chef team produce mouthwatering dishes. Service was above and beyond expectations - from the moment we got out of the taxi until the moment we left, and everything in between. The food was inventive but classic at the same time and all ingredients balanced each other, including the 91 ingredients in the amazing salad. A truly outstanding dining experience - Chef and co-owner Larry was gracious and informative, as was the rest of the team. Will definitely be back.
