Anciennement une station historique de la US Coast Guard construite en 1888 par les célèbres architectes McKim, Mead & White, aujourd'hui le Coast Guard House est un restaurant au bord de l'eau avec une vue spectaculaire sur Narragansett Bay.     Great food and view! Attentive service but the server wasn’t especially knowledgeable about the menu and forgot to tell us about specials until we asked. We were seated near the bar so it was a bit noisy. Outdoor seating is available. Cost was a bit above average but worth it for the food.

    View spectacular! Service and food were up to the task. We drove from Newport and it was very worthwhile.

    We went out for a July 4th dinner. Restaurant was full but this dude not influence food quality or service. Server was friendly and professional.

    Booked a reservation at 9 pm but didn’t get seated until 10 pm due to fireworks. As a restaurant, it should be the restaurants responsibility to give tables a time limit. Not an excuse to make patrons wait.

    Brittany was our server, she was outstanding. We all had the special and all outstanding. The Seafood Linguini special was the best meal I have ever had at Coast Guard House

    Once again I ordered the Lobster Roll. There is no need to mess with perfection. I’m sure they have other items on the menu, but why bother. Jeanette, our server was very accommodating. A small thing, I order baked potato instead of French fries. My wife ordered the lamb/salad and she also stated it was delicious. So much so, she will usually not finish her dinner, but bring the balance home. Not this time. The Coast Guard House is one of the few places where we order dessert. It was excellent. I had lemon Cake and my wife Coffee pudding. Both were excellent. Finally, a small but important issue. I ordered Decaffeinated coffee with dessert. The coffee was fresh and hot, while the dessert was fresh and cold. Overall, they could not have provided us a better dining experience.

    Both the food and staff were excellent. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful!! We will definitely be back!! Shout out to Jack the bartender! He was really friendly, made excellent cocktails and was very informative!!

    Our waitress Brittany was outstanding. The octopus and baby lamb chops appetizers as well as the scallops with pork belly entree were fantastic. Will definitely be back next visit.
