The Coal Shed Restaurant London is located at One Tower Bridge on the banks of the River Thames. The Coal Shed was born from the love of cooking the finest meat and seafood over fire.

The restaurant uses the highest quality ingredients, sourced as locally as possible. Try the 35-day aged sharing steaks or the South Coast sharing fish for a dining experience to remember.

The Coal Shed London, occupies two floors and a bar for pre and post dinner drinks and cocktails expertly crafted (it's not possible to stay at the bar at the moment due to the pandemic but if we have an available table, we will be delighted to seat you until we need it back). If you want to host your own event, there is a private dining room on the mezzanine or the restaurant can be exclusively hired for any type of occasion (following all Government Guidelines for numbers and social distancing).

Great all round experience. Visited with a group of friends, quite quiet on the night we visited and this made the experience better.

A mid week lunch outing. A very friendly, warm greeting at the door. Shown to a good table. We all opted for the garlic prawn starters followed with two on the poussin dish, me, on the cod. The presentation is special, a lot of effort is put into that 1st look you get when you receive your food. We could not fault the staff serving at table. Wine served with panache !!. Quality of the ingredients, excellent. If we had one small grumble it would be... the temperature of the food... it could have been hotter. All in all in a good lunch,

Lovely venue, great location, staff overly attentive (sorry I know that’s not the norm! Maybe as it was quiet, they tried to hard) We only had one course but charged the full set menu price. The items we had where both on the set menu and main menu so was disappointing about being overcharged. Due to busy work diary didn’t have time to argue about it, so gave in and paid. My own meal due to allergies was stripped down which was fine but they even removed something from my plate as I was eating as they realised it had an allergen in it. While I’m grateful they caught it. It shouldn’t have been on my plate and there was NO substitute item offered. In short. Over charged, made the experience of a quick nice lunch with my team disappointing.

Not overtly impressed. There are other restaurants with better quality food. Although the chips were amazing. Wine was way over priced. Would not go again. Toilets needed a clean

Went to The Coal Shed for dinner early Saturday evening. The food was delicious, service quick and good price. Would definitely return,

Staff had no reference of the booking made, so not the best start. Sirloin steak was overcooked, compared with my order and veg was undercooked for my taste. My partner ordered the fish, which was fine.
