Opened under new ownership in December 2023, we are located adjacent to our existing Roundwood Stores bakery and artisan food store. Come and enjoy good food, wine, craft beer, and log fires in the beautifully restored 1820’s Coach House.
The pub is open midday until late, Thursday to Sunday, for walk-ins and reservations.
The menu is slightly more casual (as are some of the tables) but the room is cozy and the experience the same.
The restaurant is open midday for lunch and 5pm for dinner, walk-ins or reservations available.

Lovely atmosphere but it took more than 45 minutes for our main course to arrive. In the meantime other tables that arrived after us had been served their whole dinner and were paying the bill before we’d even received our food. As for the food, one of our dishes had a disappointing balance of protein and vegetables on the plate. Felt generally a little disappointed after hearing all the hype. A so-so experience.

We had yet another amazing meal here! Their Thursday specials featuring 2- and 3-course options are such a treat. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The staff truly elevate the experience with their knowledge and warm, friendly service. It’s always an incredible dining experience. Highly recommend!

Place lacked atmosphere and the food taste. Tables on top of each other.At one stage our table and the next had to get up to let a couple with a push chair get out. The waiters were like robots, no chat and plates fired onto table. I couldn’t even get my legs under the table. For the price they charge, which is expensive I expect a bit more from the over all experience ….

Best meal I’ve had in a long time! Went with some friends for lunch and we all loved. Service and food was excellent, highly recommend

I am a huge fan of this place. It was my 2nd visit and it was even better than the 1st. I love the decor, the bread, the food in general, pleasant staff continuously making you feel comfortable. Excellent quality wine. The place is oozing charm especially the wing back chairs around the fireplace and the delicate chandeliers over the bar area. Nobody would be disappointed with is gem. (I rarely write a review but I had to share this find)

Overall great experience, our mains were slow to arrive so kids started to time out. My main turned out to be smoked which was not listed on the menu and would not have ordered if I’d known. Staff were lovely, service great and overall ambience was perfect for a Sat eve family dinner.

Really good food, great staff and so accommodating to families with babies like ourselves. High chair was ready at the table for us. Such a nice place , good vibe, great food and great guinness

Happened upon the coach inn whilst browsing for a getaway Night which wasn’t going to be to far from the city. This was a super find, it has it all to offer. Great stay, beautiful rooms, fabulous menu and good quality tasty food options. Personal service also a winner. If your looking for a special spot for a celebration, a night away or a place to rest up after a days hiking this is it.
