   Seats at the counter provided a truly one of a kind experience, allowing a front row view to the creation of each course as well as open dialog with chef and his team. The service was top notch and the meal is not one I will forget anytime soon.

   The food was incredible. Every dish was different and surprising. My spouse is vegetarian and was blown away by the veggie options. The best baklava I’ve ever had. They change the menu every quarter so we’ll definitely be back!!

   The entire menu is well thought out from each dish to the drink pairing. The service is very attentive and the entire experience was very intimate which gave an unexpected community feel.

   What a treat to dine at a restaurant where the chefs and front of house staff are passionate about what they do and eager to share their enthusiasm - and delicious creations - with you. Perfect night out.

   We had dinner and wine pairings for 4. Compared to prior visits, the courses were of varying quality - some of the courses were flavorful and memorable, while some missed the mark. Similarly, the first and last wine pairings were terrific, as was the melon-infused cocktail, while the intervening wine pairings fell flat. The orange wine in particular should be permanently retired. Chef spoke for only a minute this time, while in the past he shared more of his personal life story and journey, including more about each course. All in all, Chef has enormous talent but did not lean in with as much passion as we have enjoyed in the past.

   It was one of the best places we have been in Chicago. Definitely will come back every few months.

    Tasting menu and wine pairings - loved the duck, scallop and crab and enjoyed all the drinks that went along with the experience. Adored the bit by the sous chef engaging us with the nostalgic theme throughout the evening. Wonderful night.
