The Coach House, 2x James Beard Award and Jean Banchet Award-nominated Chef Zubair's Mohajir’s latest venture, is a Tasting Menu experience featuring a heavy dose of South Indian flavors whilst avoiding direct tradition. The Coach House is located in the rear of Lilac Tiger's street food location, on Division St.

Our 8-course Tasting Menu rotates seasonally, and is featured on Friday and Saturday nights at 5:45pm and 8:30pm. Our 5-course Pulutan Menu, inspired by the melding of Indian and Filipino cuisines, is offered at 6:30pm Tuesday-Thursday nights. We are now also featuring a Sunday Chef Residency Series with a curated menu by Chef Justin Gomes, of Buttercup Hospitality, exploring Modern Caribbean Cuisine.

Your experience can be supplemented with one of our thoughtfully-curated wine and cocktail pairings, or you and your guests can select your sipper from our worldly wine list, elegant cocktails, and vibrant and non-alcoholic signature drinks.

Join us for an 8-week exploration on Sunday nights, where our chef-in-residence, Chef Justin Gomes, Founder of Buttercup Hospitality, will be curating a multi-course dining experience. Each week, the menu will shift and change, allowing for an exploration of modern Caribbean cuisine featuring a smattering of bold flavors and spices. Please note that all seats in The Coach House will be utilized for this experience -- both tables and the chef's counter -- and that there is not an option to pre-select a preferred seating style.

Chef Jacob is a phenom! Had a wonderful experience exploring the flavors and fusions of the Philippines through Chef Jacobs eyes. Food, culture and history 10/10 recommend a seat at the Chefs Table with Chef.

11/10 overall experience. Food was insane, servers were engaging and knowledgeable, and the intimate four table setting was perfect. Could not recommend more highly.

The Pulutan tasting-menu at the Coach House was absolutely delicious! Every dish was bursting with flavors! My personal favorites were the kinilaw (ceviche), cheese bread with ube butter and paella. I loved the creative twists on some of these classic Filipino dishes. A special shoutout to Chef Jacob for making our dining experience truly memorable. His outstanding presentation and friendly demeanor enhanced our overall experience. Truly fantastic service! Their servers also went above and beyond and made us feel like VIPs. I also loved the cool vibe of this place. It has a vibrant atmosphere yet cozy and relaxed. Their delicious food, genuine hospitality and impeccable service made all the difference. We’ll definitely be back again!

We loved The Coach House! We did the 8 course tasting menu- Chef Jacob was so personable and friendly! We loved hearing the history and stories behind dishes. The entire team was great to us and made us feel super welcome. We will definitely be back again and highly recommend The Coach House to anyone looking for a great date night spot!
