Have eaten here several times before and regarded it as a step up from the Hive. Last night's meal was pleasant but not special. The Hake dish was very oily and my wife couldn't eat it all. Salad we ordered didn't arrive. Desserts, mousse and posset were both too sweet.

I enjoyed every moment we spent at the Club House! We had an evening meal and also breakfast the next morning. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially as our grandson has specific needs. A lot of thought has gone into making this a special and relaxing place. Even the toilets are a joy to visit 😊The same level of thought has gone into the food, tasty, subtle and delicious.

Staff and service excellent. More than £18 for half a carafe of red wine is pretty pricey by any standard. Food was good but again think price of starters is not good value. Amelie our waitress was excellent.

As always another lovely meal @ the Club House. Fabulous setting and decor with friendly staff and of course a fabulous meal!

A very warm welcome by the staff. A perfect setting. Warm and friendly service and very nicely prepared food. A good ambiance and buzz. We would go back again.

Breakfast was excellent. We had the full breakfast and it was more than enough (I really didn't need the extra Black Pudding that I ordered). The service was excellent, with a friendly, efficient approach. After our breakfast, we went for a walk and returned for coffee and cake in the garden. Our dog loved the doggie ice-cream and the little touches, such as bringing a bowl of water for our dog, were really appreciated. We are looking forward to to returning for lunch or dinner. Highly recommended.

Really impressed! Relaxed, very friendly and efficient service, fantastic fresh fish with perfectly judged sauces! Puddings really well done. Love their clever gins with a hint of the sea too. Only downside was a drone buzzing overhead and swooping over the tables…a bit off-putting… but not the fault of The Clubhouse.
