A very warm welcome by the staff. A perfect setting. Warm and friendly service and very nicely prepared food. A good ambiance and buzz. We would go back again.

Breakfast was excellent. We had the full breakfast and it was more than enough (I really didn't need the extra Black Pudding that I ordered). The service was excellent, with a friendly, efficient approach. After our breakfast, we went for a walk and returned for coffee and cake in the garden. Our dog loved the doggie ice-cream and the little touches, such as bringing a bowl of water for our dog, were really appreciated. We are looking forward to to returning for lunch or dinner. Highly recommended.

Really impressed! Relaxed, very friendly and efficient service, fantastic fresh fish with perfectly judged sauces! Puddings really well done. Love their clever gins with a hint of the sea too. Only downside was a drone buzzing overhead and swooping over the tables…a bit off-putting… but not the fault of The Clubhouse.

Very good Sunday lunch with delicious beef but rather overdone Yorkshire pudding. Very loud family on the next table with small child having tantrums did not help the ambiance.

Very good place to drink and eat. Music outside was excellent and really added to the experience of the day. Meal was good as normal, however Sunday roast vegetables were a bit cold as extremely busy in the restaurant. Fish & Chip were great.

A regular place for us, visited on a very busy bank holiday, staff did the best they could, but not up to the usual standards. Food ok, service ok. Definitely still our favourite place to visit, but maybe not on a bank holiday!

Absolutely love this place!! Come here every time when I come to the UK!! The fish was perfectly cooked. Oysters were superb!!
