Lovely gem of a find within the Warbrook hotel . Authentic dishes and experienced chef from India creating delicious fresh and aromatic dishes beautifully spiced . Loved the fusion dessert of gulag jamun cheesecake!

The food was excellent. The wine choice was limited and they didn’t have our first choice. It then took 50 minutes for our drinks to be served. The staff were very sweet but inexperienced. Would go again just for the food and hope they are more organised

Despite having booked a table for 6, when we arrived the staff had to remove cutlery etc from a table for 8 to accommodate us. The drink and food order took far too long and was wrong every time. Some food just never turned up. I did have a quiet word with the guy in charge and when the bill came we were given a discount. I would much rather have had an enjoyable dining experience. It really did feel like Fawlty Towers. We have been previously and received excellent service. We brought friends which was embarrassing. The guy in charge apologised and said ‘we are busy’. This is not really what you expect or want to hear. Sorry for the negative review but if people don’t give feedback, things will not improve.

Restaurant was closed. The manager came out and offered us a free drink for next time. That was nice of him but the offer didn't really satisfy our hunger.

Nothing against The clove canal view!! This review is more for OpenTable team. We booked a reservation on a Sunday to celebrate my wife’s birthday 4 days prior to that day. I then get a call just 10 mins prior to the appointment that the restaurant is closed on Sundays! The whole plan was ruined. Fyi all - Clove Canal view restaurant is closed on Sundays, except for their bar menu.

Lovely setting in a hotel in large grassed grounds. Limited but creative menu, but with plenty of vegan options as well as some meat/seafood classics. All beautifully presented & well executed with charming but discrete service.
