The Clissold Arms is a family owned local Gastropub with a longstanding history within the community. We have a wonderfully loyal local clientele and take pride in rewarding them with a reliably warm welcome and our delicious menus designed around our “Food Comes First” philosophy.

From our famous Greek specialties to our lighter bites and fish dishes, fresh from our local fishmonger, our Chefs are always challenging themselves to create new, inspired dishes. Our varied A La Carte menu offers a wide choice of starters, main courses and desserts, carefully put together by our kitchen team.

Our large selection of beers, ciders and wines change regularly to compliment both the menu and the season. All can be enjoyed in any of our five unique spaces within the pub. An inviting place where you instantly feel at home.

Perfect setting for an outdoor lunch . Weather was great . Service by the staff is attentive and friendly . Food is great . We had various starters … tarama calamari Greek salad and octopus . Mains were chicken kebabs with home made chips . Pudding we shared an Oreo cheesecake . Good list of wines and drinks . Definitely worth a visit !!

The venue is amazing, has a beautiful garden. We were lucky to be there, weather permitted. The food is extraordinary, Mediterranean Greek. We’ll definitely go back again soon.

Lovely place and very big . The outdoor seating was nice and covered. The meal was very expensive compared to local Greek restaurants. The food was nice .

A party of three we had two roast beef meals which were both served as requested and a Greek selection for the third member of our party who said it was amazing.

We have been dined here several times over the past few years when we visit the area. The quality of the food is very good. The service and the staff are very friendly and attentive.

Restaurant was full with people. It was great atmosphere! There were so many staff members around as well, which was great! We have ordered Sunday roast straight away and it came pretty quick, drinks were served super fast as well. Food was absolutely delicious! Big , generous portion of Beef Roast ,and we also got complimentary fries on the house ! Highly Recommend this place! We are definitely going back there soon

Lovely roast on Easter Sunday… our party of 3 covered all main choices of roast beef, pulled lamb shoulder and chicken. Excellent, flavoursome meats, good yorkshires and roasties, with good selection of veggies. Great, friendly service. Would return and recommend.
