Welcome to The Clifton, we look forward to serving you. All the food served at The Clifton is freshly prepared and made with beautiful seasonal ingredients. There’s truly something for everyone on the menu, from bar snacks and kids’ dishes, to our famous Sunday roasts. Plus, you can rest assured that everything on the menu is sampled, and the suppliers are personally vouched for, by Ben, Ed and Adam – a tough job, but someone has to do all that tasting!

Staff were very accommodating to our needs & also very welcoming! Food was lovely. It was a very enjoyable experience as always!

The waiting staff were very perfunctory and not at all warm and welcoming which is always disappointing. But the food was OK, not brilliant, not bad. Roast pork cracking was soft for all three of us who chose it and the place was busy and very noisy. They’ve also completely changed the cosy layout of the old pub and its snow basically just a pub-styled restaurant. I’ll probably return at some point but I’m in no hurry 6.5/10

Amazing staff, lovely ambience, great food. On sundays also very good roast they have. Always a good choice to spend your time.

Unbelievable Sunday lunch the beef was amazing. Lovely pub and fantastic staff all of them so friendly and welcoming.

An expert take on pub food with some creative twists. The chicken schnitzel was a standout. Service is friendly and efficient. On the short list!
