Good food but when we went to order dessert we were told our choice (sticky toffee pudding) was not available and as the kitchen was closing in one minute there was no time to order an alternative. Surely if the kitchen was closing soon someone should have come to ask if were wanting desserts!

A really lovely, relaxed neighbourhood pub with a nice bohemian feel, the Sunday roast was very nice. We will definitely return.

We have a 7 month old baby. There was no ramp access, no baby changing facilities, and most of the menu was not available. The roast dinners arrived before our starter, they were too salty and the starter was tiny and dry (calamari). There was no soap in the toilets for hand washing, they had alcohol gel outside the toilets but even that had run out.

Hi Alice, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. As a fairly small pub, unfortunately we don't have space or resources for a ramp or baby changing facilities. Whilst we are always happy for customers with babies to use a quiet area of the pub if necessary, we are unfortunately not equipped to provide a dedicated space. I'm sorry that the rest of your visit was also disappointing, I do sincerely hope you will give us another chance to show you the standards we aim to achieve regularly. Booked a table via Opentable but no record of booking on arrival. Asked if I could sit anywhere and told yes, when ordering food was told the section we were sitting in was reserved for a private function. Only table left was a small one wedged in with other groups. Barman suggested we sit outside - it’s late October! Menu is limited, basically pizzas. Was also told on ordering that the prices on the menu were wrong -gone up but no new ones printed. Avoid.

Hi Kirsty, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review both here and on Tripadvisor. I'm sorry to hear that you were not entirely satisfied with your visit! You should have had a suitable space saved for the size of your group and I am looking into how and why this happened. I am so sorry to have caused you and your group any discomfort, especially since you booked so far in advance! Unfortunately we were in the midst of a menu change on the day of your visit and a delay with the printers meant that menus had not been updated. I'm glad to know we were able to advise you of the price changes at the time of ordering and you will be happy to know that the new menu is now ready and we have much more to offer than just our famous pizzas!
