Had the lamb, didn’t taste or look like lamb chops. My husband had the strip which was warm not hot and very little taste. Best thing at dinner was the shrimp cocktail and the bread pudding. Building looks old and run down, inside and out.

We don't really get negative feedback on our lamb. It is one of our most popular dishes. We wish you would have said something while you were there so we could have offered you something different. As for the NY Strip, one of my favorites, being done in a pink peppercorn crust and sauce, I find it hard to believe it had "very little taste". For the building, we are located in an original Ford Model-T dealership that was built in 1916. It's charm and character are part of our story and history. Not really sure how it looks "old and rundown, inside and out" since we just remodeled the interior a year and a half ago. New bar, new tables and chairs and booths as well as new restroom fixtures. Outside, fresh paint new awnings and an eight foot mahogany stained door. I guess taste is subjective.

The food was outstanding. We enjoyed the bison ribeye and the Oscar style filet.

We had a very nice time at the Citrus Room. The food and service were outstanding. The atmosphere was pleasant and the noise level was low allowing us older people to hold a conversation and actually hear what others were saying. Yes, it is a little pricey but if you are looking for an intimate location and the price is secondary you can't beat the Citrus Room. The only negative I have on this visit was as we were having dessert a young woman with 3 children came in. They must have had a reservation as they were seated immediately. We were a little surprised that the children were welcomed even though the hour was getting late. From the short time we were there after these people came in the children were pretty well behaved. We were just surprised that a restaurant of this quality would allow children at that hour. The young woman, however was a different story. When she came in she was on her cell phone. She was dressed very casual, even wearing a "Pink" T-shirt. She remained on the cell phone the rest of the time we were there. I really think the Citrus Room needs to update their dress requirements,

Thank you for being open on NYE. We had a very nice meal. We were there a while, but it was worth it. Very consistent every time. Definitely will be back again.

New Years Eve was perfect! The food and service was excellent. The Wagyu steak and Chilean Sea Bass were delicious. We always have a great experience at The Citrus Room. I highly recommend this special restaurant in Dade City!

The best steakhouse in the area spectacular service the prime ribeye was succulent and the drinks were perfect would highly recommend

We did not enjoy our experience at all. My food was good; However, my wife's food was just awful. Our server was severely lacking and completely checked out. Sadly, it was not the experience we had hoped for or not even what we had read in reviews. We understand things are not always perfect but the lack of caring or even appropriate acknowledgement of lack of attention and delivery poor subpar food was shocking. We are not likely to ever go back to the Citrus Room.

Great restaurant, we had the filet and the tenderloin, started with onion soup, meal comes with salad/baked potato and dessert. Meat was cooked to perfection. A couple glasses of wine and done. Highly recommend

Wanted to try The Citrus Room for months and so glad I did! The atmosphere was quite, dark and cozy. The service is the best! We tried the filet and lobster and they were both delicious. You also get dessert with your dinner which is a nice touch.
