Le Cinnamon Club, souvent primé, à St James ne ressemble à aucun autre restaurant indien que vous ayez visité. Situé dans l'ancienne Bibliothèque Old Westminster - un bâtiment classé historique avec des livres qui tapissent les murs - sa grandeur et son caractère complètent parfaitement sa nourriture exceptionnelle. L'équipe de 18 chefs, dirigée par Vivek Singh, ont une approche créative et un talent distinctif de la superposition de saveurs avec une présentation étonnante. Join us for Jazz Brunch at the legendary Westminster Library and enjoy live music whilst you indulge in a seductive 3 – course brunch menu. Kick off with proceedings with a Kedgeree with smoked haddock and poached egg or Jackfruit and lotus root kebab with poppy seed & tomato chutney. Indulge in larger plates of Tandoori Portobello and king oyster mushrooms, stir-fry of morels with peas & spinach garlic sauce; Rajasthani style curried venison mince with fried egg & layered paratha. End things on a sweet note with a passion fruit and gulab jamun brûlée or selection of English cheeses with quince chutney. T&Cs: two-piece band will perform from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. The last seating is available at 2:30pm.

Tasting menu was superb, and service was excellent. The place is quirky for an Indian restaurant. Nice atmosphere, not too noisy. Only small thing to downgrade it from being pretty much perfect is the lavatory, which was a bit run down and not particularly clean. Everything else about the experience was exceptional and would happily return and recommend.

I have always viewed The Cinnamon Club as being the highest quality. They have taken their game to a different level. The dinner we had their with friends was exquisite, made even better by excellent guidance and service by wonderful assistant Akaba.

Great setting for a restaurant inside a library. Visuals are great and the fine dining fits in great. Food was tasty and good portion sizes.

The Tasting Menu was superb. The service was outstanding with a team led by Sachin. They looked after us so well. Especially ensuring that my daughter who is celiac always had the correct dish. Would we go back - absolutely in a heart beat.

This is a fabulous venue and the food is good. It’s very noisy, though, and the tables are packed in tightly close to each other. So it’s not the place to come if you’re looking for a nice quiet chat with your dining companion(s). The vegan menu is not quite as full as it could be - there are no vegan breads, for example. And things like the dhaal, which could easily be vegan, are not. There is only one vegan side dish.

We had the early set menu (three courses for £37) which was the same price as a standard main course. It was excellent; lots of choice and generous portions. Would recommend the trout starter and belly pork main. Extras still add up, mind. End bill was twice that when we added sides, an aperitif and a carafe of wine. So fair value in the end rather than 'bargain'.
