Restaurant in the centre of Ludlow. Starter to share of calamari. My husband had the fish and chips which was excellent, very fresh fish and amazing batter. I had the beef pie which was also excellent, with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Bottle of pinot grigio at reasonable price. Waiting staff were very friendly and welcoming. Only small criticism would be that there was no time between starter and mains so the whole meal was completed under the hour. If we go again we would ask for some time between courses. Overall would definitely recommend for good quality pub food.

A magnificent Sunday roast (one beef, one chicken) with the friendliest staff and swift service. Portion sizes were perfect, plates were left spotlessly clean! (Share a cauliflower cheese for added deliciousness.) Deserves all the great reviews.

Have not eaten here for several years. Last time it was mediocre, but now under a new team. Good variety of dishes on the menu, and everyone was well pleased with their choices. Service was attentive, but not intrusive. Great choice of beers. Overall, I cannot fault the experience.

The food was fantastic - four extremely happy customers! Highlights included the delicious Dorset snails and superb beef and ale pies. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for high quality, freshly cooked cuisine at very reasonable prices.
