Atlas Restaurant Group celebrates historic Fells Point with The Choptank, a new fish and crab house located in the Broadway Market’s south shed. The Choptank honors the market’s 200-plus-year legacy with authentic local seafood and an energy and hustle true to the area.

Atlas Restaurant Group promotes a dining atmosphere and the suggested dress is business casual. We kindly ask our guests to abide by these suggestions to create an enjoyable environment for all guests.

The following items are prohibited however:

• Gentlemen’s tank tops or sleeveless shirts
• Hats are not permitted indoors for gentlemen
• No exposed undergarments
• Clothing with language or graphics that are vulgar or sexually explicit
• Footwear is required, however there is no restriction on the style
*Children accompanied by an adult are not subject to the Dress Policy*

We are there twice this weekend. Once inside, once out. In both cases food and service was excellent.

This was fantastic! The food was amazing, I don’t think anyone of our party of 12 had anything left on the plate. The service was great. The manager was so kind and accommodating- even gave us places to go and grab a drink after.

Our server, Charlotte was great. We had a 7:15 PM reservation. Our food did not come out till 8:47 PM. On duty manager would avoid coming to our table as our server asked him to because it was ridiculous that we had no food and a small child with us . I would not recommend this place to anyone as the service is terrible. It’s a shame because the food was pretty decent.

Good service. I ordered a beet salad. I was disappointed. Heavy on the dressing and light on the fruit. The dressing was too thick and difficult to eat.

The Choptank in Baltimore was not at all what I expected. I was disappointed with the menu and the fact that you are charged for drawn butter if requested to go with the hush puppies, the larger steam platter at MKT price was not worth more than $40 and the potatoes and sausage was so inadequate that they were no edible. The drinks from the soda machine were flat and had to make requests for different choices only to end up with water & lemon. The appetizer and chicken wings was a waste of my money. That bill was $$$ and gave me pause to not want to return.

Hostess wasn’t great. She told us there was nothing available outside but after we insisted we had a reservation she magically found one. Lol. Our server was great. Food was great.

What an amazing place, really can’t say enough about it. Great atmosphere in the center of Fells Point and everything we had was amazing. Started with a sampling of oysters and steamed mussels in their white wine sauce, which was to die for. I had their rockfish and my wife had their scallops, both were delicious. Best part of the meal was our waitress, Sami, who was extremely engaging and friendly - one of the best servers we’ve ever had! Highly recommend this place

We ordered the large seafood tower and it was underwhelming compared to Ocean Club/Mastro’s. The reason we tried Choptank was because Obrycki’s moved to the airport. The Maryland crab is the big draw, but we felt like we made a bad choice versus the former famous crab shack. Next time we’ll drive back to the airport.
