I thought the food at Choptank was really good. We had the fried oysters and wagyu meatballs for appetizer. I then had the single crab cake for dinner. Lastly, I got the passion fruit crème brûlée for dessert (it’s very good but very tangy). My party and I went on a Friday around 5:30pm. You definitely seem to need reservations as they were packed. FYI - it was extremely loud inside the restaurant. I felt like I had to yell for the people sitting across from me for them to hear me and I had to keep asking them to repeat what they said. It’s a nice location though with views of the water. You can either find parking on the sides of the restaurant or very close by. My only issue was our waiter, Greg- I’m not sure if he was having an off night or if there was miscommunication due to the noise level and his low talking but we had an issue with him understanding our order correctly, refilling water and checking on us and correcting an order where the food wasn’t cooked all the way. It got so bad the waitress at the next table just filled our water for us. Regardless, I would still go back- I would just ensure he wasn’t my waiter.

Food is excellent. A little pricey but delicious. Need to bring back valet. Service a little slow but our server was outstanding. Order the purple True Color cocktail so good. Scallops are 5 star. Loaded crab fries are amazing.

Came with out of town family and sat upstairs outside - food was great, service was great and even more importantly drinks were great!

Our server was exceptional. He was very professional and extremely entertaining. He was very attentive to our particular needs concerning food allergies and just generally made the evening very enjoyable.

Very good experience. Upstairs outside view was excellent. The food was excellent.

We love eating outside on the upper deck but we have to keep reminding ourselves that we're paying dearly for location, location, location. I have a problem when the least expensive bottle of wine starts at $55 and $14 for a glass of prosecco. The food is okay but part of our enjoyment of a meal always includes sharing a bottle of nice wine. This is one of the few places in Annapolis where we feel compelled to only have one glass of wine and fill in with water. We always get a bottle of wine at Cafe Normandie, Carroll's Creek, Paul's, Luna Blu, and most other restaurants but not here. We also always get a bottle when we're in Italy, France, Spain, and other European countries. It's a shame that it's so expensive at this restaurant.

The restaurant is beautiful, but I was disappointed by the service. The food was good not great, but in Annapolis good is below expectations. The wait staff was aloof and arrogant. I ordered a lobster roll and the bread was a hotdog bun. At $38 I was pretty surprised the bread was the same bun as a ballpark hot dog. The tables are very close together and the party next to us was offended by their server. I think they took their server’s attitude personally. I will not be going back next time we are visiting.

Our server Xander was excellent. Everything we ordered was amazing - the oysters, cream of crab soup and crabcakes were especially good.

This was my second time at the restaurant, first time was for a dinner party and the food sampling was amazing. I expected the same amazing food , but nothing I ordered today was good. The ribeye tasted like a cheap steak not meeting the worth of $60+ the lobster roll was salty the crab dip was missing the crab the meatball lacked flavor the broccolini was too citrus in the lemon butter sauce and the rum crushed drink was not tasty. Best ringing ordered was the pineapple juice my 9 month old drank, it was her first time having juice that wasn’t diluted. Will not be returning for a third time.
