The lemongrass coconut mussels were cooked to perfection! Their Rockefeller Oysters also stole the show! We could’ve stopped there, but decided on the Mahi Mahi which was beautiful blackened and the 8 oz steak (can’t remember the cut) with truffle butter and broccolini left us full and wanting nothing more. We enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant and we truly cannot wait to return!

We recently visited Annapolis and had dinner at Choptank. The food was of very good quality, well prepared, and plated properly. The portion sizes are very generous. When back in the Annapolis area I will certainly be dining at Choptank. Good Food.

Excellent view on the upper deck. Food was very good and cream of crab soup superb!

Everything was delicious, as always. The service was excellent. When we asked to have the volume of the speakers turned down, so that we could hear each other speak, our waiter made it happen! It made the evening infinitely more pleasant. We will definitly go back to this restaurant!

Great spot, hard to find a great location and great food all in one but the Choptank has both

Great outside table on the second level with wonderful views of the Annapolis harbor and sunset. Very good service and all eight picky diners were very pleased with their meal.

I ate a late lunch with friends on the outside deck on a lovely fall day.. Being near the water was so calming. The food was good. Our server, Al, was outstanding. Upon realizing that were were celebrating three birthdays, he brought us a small shared dessert. Lovely location, great ambiance and I would come back.

The chef was definitely off last night. My first dish, a seafood cioppino, was extremely overcooked with rubbery lobster, rockfish fillets you could bounce off the table, nuggets of clam that I could not bite through, and poor shrimp that had hardened beyond edible. I sent it back for a lobster and avocado bomb. Lobster was still overcooked but not as bad as the first. My wife was nearly finished with her dish so I ate what I could and moved on. Waitress did well to try to make things right. But for the prices Choptank charges for its food, I would expect they could hire a quality control person and make sure every dish comes out near perfect. Shame on you and you should apologize to the seafood you destroyed. They deserved better.
