Established in 1992 by Mike Connor with the help of family and friends, The Chop House® has become one of the premier casual restaurant concepts in the Southeast, with 12 locations spread across 4 states.

    24th Anniversary / Family dinner, enjoying time with kids home from college for the weekend. Prompt and friendly service, not overly gratuitous with little banter which suits us just fine. Food was good; prime rib, ribs and ribeye… surprisingly the ribs seemed to be the most enjoyed. Spinach dip and burgundy mushrooms were highlights. Restaurant does need a refresh, it’s dated and not reflective of the menu or prices. We like this restaurant and visit about two or three times a year.

    2nd visit and sat in nearly the exact same booth as visit one...in the bar area. Service was quite good as was the food. Unfortunately, towards the end of our meal, a father/daughter couple were sat next to us and it was obvious they had been celebrating prior to arriving at the restaurant. Smh, some people are ignorant and loud, especially when you add alcohol. Will I make a 3rd visit? Most definitely! Maybe sit in the main dining area next time?

    There were 5 of dinning. All of us had great meals. I love their chopped salad. Very slow getting our drinks , that’s the only somewhat negative thing I could say. Table was ready when we got there. Prime ribs, filets and manhattan steaks were excellent. Cooked exactly how we ordered them.

    Salads are great, so are chops and potatoes. Bread is good too! Might be a tad over baked the last two times we were in.

    Excellent as always! Chop House always has something for everyone and is reliably good. Food was excellent. Service from Brittney was excellent.

    The Chop House has delicious steaks , salads and sides. We took out of town guests there and they loved it. Never disappointing. Moderately priced.

    One of my few go to places in Dayton. Food always good (salads lack size and greens) and lots of good choices. It is a "meat" place but you can do easily if vegetarian. Love the service too.
