Food and service were both excellent. Priced reasonably considering the quality. Will be back next time I’m in town for sure. Would give more than 5 stars if I could!

The food was delicious, but the waitress was rude. Her demeanor was short and irritated when we ordered waters. I was with my mom and two small children. Our hotel did not have a refrigerator or microwave nor was any of us starving so we didn’t want to order too much food we couldn’t take with us. We ordered their steak special that came with a side, ordered two additional sides and a dessert. The waitress got even more passively rude after we placed the dinner order. I still tipped over 20% but found her behavior offensive. The food is wonderful and won’t disappoint.

The classy joint in Luray. The menu was sauce-based, and I enjoyed that. As a Marylander, I expected anything with the crab and chip dip, and they nailed it. Probably the star of the night, though I enjoyed their salmon, too.

The lunch menu is quite limited , I ordered a dessert that came with Hair in it. They took it off the bill but for fine dining I expected the manager to come out and address the issue personally and offer to comp something on my bill. I had a glass of wine, bistro bowl w/ salmon and the desert was the cheese cake. I’m not saying I won’t try again. I just was not satisfied with today.

Great food in a nice atmosphere. Great service. A real treasure after a day exploring Luray Caverns.

We were celebrating our anniversary and had a wonderful meal and experience at The Chop House Bistro! Our server, Kristin was a delight - she was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered us excellent information! She also went so far as to bring our desserts on decorated plates with candles! We highly recommend this restaurant!!

We enjoyed our dinner once we were able to move to a cooler location. It was an extremely hot day/evening & our original table was upstairs in a side area that didn’t have much airflow. When I asked the hostess about moving at first she was resistant but finally conceded there was another table in a larger room upstairs that was cool enough to enjoy our dinner. Our server was excellent, sharing her thoughts on food & drink options. When asked about a couple of the wines she admitted she wasn’t a wine drinker & offered me a couple of small tastings so I could determine which wine would best accompany my meal. We had their veggie hash which was very flavorful & I recommend it. My husband had the sirloin & I had the scallops with the coconut lemongrass sauce- excellent choices for each of us. Definitely give the Duck Fat Fried a try! If you’re in the area this place is truly worth a visit!!
