We made a reservation at 8:30 (I did not check the closing time of the restaurant). We were running 7 minutes late and I called to let them know, to which I was told “as long as you are here by 8:45 don’t worry”. We arrived at 8:37, the host stated “The kitchen will stay open for your order, but is about to close”, so that didn’t make us feel very welcome from the beginning. As soon as we were seated our waitress said “I was beginning to wonder about you” as if we were extremely late. For the record, I attempted to make an earlier reservation but the only available times were 5:00 pm or 8:30 pm. The food was the best part of the experience, ambiance inside the restaurant left something to be desired, however, when we were leaving at ~9:45, there was a table of 4 on the porch who seemed to be enjoying a leisurely time, either not made to feel rushed or ignoring that feeling. I honestly almost left as soon as the waitress “introduced herself”. Our anniversary dinner was not at all met with the hospitality we had hoped for.

For a chop house the meat was average Appetizer and home made ice cream were excellent

We enjoyed an exceptional dinner at Chop House Bistro. Service was excellent—friendly, informed and especially attentive to some food issues. It deserves high marks all around and we recommend it to all.

Everything was very good and met or exceeded expectations. I ordered the filet as my entree. It melted in my mouth and was among the best I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend.

We had never been here before. Highly recommend! Excellent rib eye that we were allowed to share because we’re older and just don’t eat that much anymore lol! Mashed reds were divine! Great service. Wonderful ambiance on the patio. Fantastic dessert! A goat cheese custard with berries.
