The cheese sticks were the best thing that we had. The chowder was ok. Baked potatoes were good, but the ribeye was in a sauce that was over powering and the horseradish in the filet was tasteless. Our server was attentive, but the food was lacking. This is not a place we would choose to return.

Only had 11 chairs my reservation was for 12 ppl one person had to leave. Was told didn't have anymore chairs. I seen plenty on the patio no one was out there whole two hours was there

The manger was rude after waiting for food for a hour and thirty mins for our party of 12 only half the food came out by the time it was time to pack up the left overs the rest of the tables food came the table. We asked for Manager he came and said it’s nothing he can do for us not even 5%. I was outside moving the cars up for my family due rain when this conversation happened(5 cars), I ask to speak with him because i just couldn’t believe he couldn’t give 6 people 5% off there $100 bill. The server Ethan(wonderful) came back out saying the manger was too busy to talk to us again. After waiting 10 mins he finally came back out and told me to my face deal with it i can’t do anything. I nicely asked take the food off then and we will be more then happy to pay for our drinks and leave for the six people who didn’t get our food til it was time to go, he then again told me he’s not doing that pay the bill! Awful customer service to people who are willing to pay just me compensated for the trouble. Especially a few dollars on a 100 bill

The Chop House in Augusta Ga. Is one of our favorite places to go for special occasions. They have the best Prime Rib in this area. The service is great. We use OpenTable for making the reservation with greatest of ease. We highly recommend The ChopHouse and OpenTable!

My prime rib was mostly fat. I got the 16oz and left hungry because I could only eat half of it.

The service was terribly lacking. From the person who sat us, waitress and food runner it was clear they were not in customer service. The waitress had three tables and seemed overwhelmed. We never got bread, I had to ask for a cup of ice three times. When we received the salad it looked like it had been prepared three days ago. I got a steak, baked potato and mushrooms. The steak I will say was delicious, the baked potato very bland and the mushrooms had a strange after taste. We were asked if we wanted our check before we finished our meal. I will not return. If you are looking for a good steak place you would be better off somewhere else.

We celebrated Father's Day with a friend and her father. Our table was ready on time and I was happy about that. The food was great and so was the service.
