My wife and I’ve been coming to the chophouse since it started here in Athens. We’ve been very pleased with the service and the quality of food. It’s very good for us this week. Tend to have lunch here periodically and they are able to service very quickly with an exceptional choice. We’ve been pleased and happy that they are here in Athens. We have used this for many occasions, and will continue to do so.

Have visited 3 times in 2 months. Queso spinach dip and deviled eggs are really good. Steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly (medium well), crab cakes were delicious and baby back ribs fell off the bone. Wait staff friendly and professional.

The Chop House in Athens is a wonderful place to eat! We had a very large group they graciously accommodated and we had the best time. Our servers were wonderful and everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks!

The food was excellent!! The atmosphere was great! The service was…a bit lacking. It was Father’s Day so I know they were extra busy. Our waiter said he was a little overwhelmed, he was friendly and knowledgeable, but once we ordered he seemed to disappear. We had to get someone else to bring more drinks (tea), I think it was the manager. We had to ask 3 times for the bill and a to-go box. The waiter never offered a dessert menu, so we went somewhere else for dessert. Again, the food was excellent! A bit pricey, but worth it! Will definitely return and hope the service is better.

This was our fourth visit to Chop House Athens. Did not disappoint. The food was great. Service impeccable. The noise level was very low even though the restaurant was full. Very pleasant and enjoyable. Oh, the blueberry ice cream…if available, DO NOT PASS UP.
