Wir hatten uns dazu entschlossen unseren Jahrestag mit einer Teatime im Kai zu feiern. Beim betreten des Ladens wurden wir schon herzlich begrüßt und man kam sich gut aufgehoben vor. Wir wurden dann an die Liebe Izabela (war zumindest der Name auf unserer Rechnung) übergeben, die mit ihrer professionellen und chamanten Art uns über die Stunden die Zeit versüßt hat. Ihre Service verdient größtes Lob, da sie immer und überall mit einem Lächeln auf die Fragen und Wünsche von den Gästen einging und diese zumindest, bei uns, zu unseren vollsten Zufriedenheit erfüllt hat. Über das Ambiete kann man auch nur staunen. Das war die beste Teatime die ich jemand hatte. Vom Welcomedrink bis über den sehr guten Chamapgner bis über die exzellente Teeauswahl fehlte es uns an nichts. Die Etagere wurde mit Liebe bestückt und nicht nur das Aussehen hat überzeugt sondern der Geschmack war genauso atemberaubend. Tee und Leckerein werden bei Bedarf nachgefüllt. Uns hatte die selbstgemachte Miso und das Pandam-Tiramisu total überzeugt. Nachdem wir bezahlen wollten, bekamen wir zu unserer Rechnung noch eine kleine Petit four Platte mit der Aufschrift "Happy Anniversary", worüber wir uns unfassbar gefreut hatten! Es gab dort einen kleine Glückskugel, die man mit einem löffel aufbrechen konnte und dort eine kleiner essbarer Glücksspruch draufstand. Ich könnte noch viel mehr zu dieses Lokal erzählen, da es noch viel mehr zu loben gibt. Preis-Leistung fand ich absolut gerecht. Leider hatten wir nicht so viel Zeit wie gerne gehabt hätten, aber diese Erfahrungen war einzigartig. Wir werden bei unserem nächsten Besuch in London definitiv wieder vorbeischauen. Absolutes muss in London, wenn man eine hochklassige Teatime genießen möchte!

Beautiful afternoon tea! Different to the usual sandwiches and scones, this was a beautifully presented array of delicious bites. My favourite was the steamed egg with caviar and soy! The Chinese whispers them was very creative, and we loved the little birds and bird cages.

I booked this afternoon tea for a friend visitor from Japan. It was the best afternoon tea ever. If you are looking for something other than usual cucumber sandwiches and scones then this is the place to come. The food was presented and cooked to the perfection and it was also such a fun and interactive. It was reasonable considering they will bring more savoury if you like and the service was very smooth. I had been to Alice in wonderland theme one at Shard last year and it was so expensive and too sweet.

This was a truly beautiful tea time. They accommodated our allergies and everything was really delicious.

We had a delightful experience at the Chinese Whispers tea. The entire experience was curated to evoke whimsy and charm. The food was excellent. There were playful options if sprinkles to add to a delicious giant macaron. You may want to ask your server to point out the few spicy items if you have a low tolerance for spicy foods. Most savory items were wonderful. We lived the egg cup with soy broth. The grilled vegetables and the duck were both excellent. Absolutely marvelous experience. (Tea is served in the basement of a listed property, so no lift)

Afternoon tea with a (Chinese) twist - loved the playful themes, inventive nibbles (particularly the spicy "potion of eternal youth" and fragrant "money" cake) and second helpings. Was quite stuffed at the end of it all. Also - immaculate service.

I found a bone in My food and the waitress/manager said she will tell the chef, but thats it. They did not campensate or do Anything more. The food was a little bit dry. But the place was nice.
