The Chelsfield is a majestic 1930's pub nestled in the splendid parish of Chelsfield in Southeast London. A second home for our locals, The Chelsfield is a space to relax, unwind and unite with loved ones. With distinctive, double-height ceilings and a traditional art deco style, there are plenty of cosy or lively spots to sit back and enjoy with a drink in hand.

The roast beef was mainly fat and gristle sadly. Roast pork was ok as was chicken schnitzel - disappointing meals were hit and miss so doubt we will eat there again nice boozer to drink in though

Very long wait for service. Food was good once arrived but restaurant was overbooked.

A bad day for the Chelsfield. Maybe their chef had walked out or something. We waited over 2 hours for food to be served - as did everyone else in our line of sight. Food was 'OK' - not really up to the standards we've seen here before. Situation was poorly-managed, with information not readily-shared with hungry customers. The lovely waiting staff were unfairly exposed to the stress of dealing with increasingly angry customers - not fair on them. We've been to the Chelsfield quite a lot over recent months - I guess we will go back in the hope that this was a 1 day blip....but this was seriously disappointing.

Service was not good we weren’t offered drinks at the table , slow to take our order, didn’t clear starter crockery then mains arrived , we weren’t offered to see desert menu and again had to ask the waitresses to clear the table from our mains . We left not giving the service charge . Very disappointed as a birthday Sunday lunch and will not be returning . Food was good though .

Although only one person serving on a busy Saturday, service was excellent. Went above and beyond with the kids, also food was delicious. Highly recommend
