A second home for our locals, The Chelsfield is a space to relax, unwind and unite with loved ones. The bar staff were lovely. Very polite and helpful. Bar area was loud. I would choose the dining room next time. Menu was a little limited. More healthy options please.

The food was very good but the service was awful. Instead of desert we ordered the coffee and mini desert. The coffee came quite quickly and we expected the deserts to follow. Half an hour later I asked if they had forgotten the deserts but was told that they were busy. Not what I was expecting.

I have eaten here a couple of times, and have never had a problem with service or food, but today we had a roast dinner and 3 items was left off all our roasts as they had run out, but wasnt asked if we wanted replacements. Just told we have run out! Also food was luke warm and some parts cold. Was a bit disappointed this time to be honest 😕

The fish had far to much batter on it & the batter was slightly undercooked.Expected better as we spent over £200. Will not visit again

We really enjoyed lunch at The Chelsfield, the food was excellent and the service friendly and attentive. We couldn’t eat dessert as too full but the menu even included a vegan option which is impressive. Would definitely come back, nice menu and lovely service.

First visit to The Chelsfield, but as it was a £20 each way Uber ride because of the railway engineering works, we probably won't return until we can get the train without having to use a replacement bus! That aside, The Chelsfield is great. The food is very good, the staff are very friendly and efficient and the ambance excellent. The only reason for not giving everything 5 stars is because the furniture, especially the outside tables and chairs are very run down and in need of refurbishment or replacing. And 4 stars for the food was because the parsnips that should have come with our Sunday roast didn't. But that's a minor whinge, because everything else was brill. AND, unlike our local "pub" in Bickley, The Chelsfield serve proper bitter, not just lager! As soon as the trains are sorted, we will be back.

Lovely venue, nice friendly waiting staff, tasty food. Unfortunately our main meal and then desserts took a very long time to come.
