The Chefs Table est un petit restaurant indépendant au cœur de la ville de Chester, proposant les meilleurs produits locaux dans des menus de saison en constante évolution. L'établissement travaille en étroite collaboration avec ses fournisseurs, particulièrement avec une association de producteurs biologiques sous le nom de The Natural Veg Men, située à 24 km du restaurant. Ce rapprochement permet aux chefs de travailler avec des produits incroyables et inspirants. Lors du dîner, le restaurant propose un menu à la carte réduit, avec une offre incroyable de 2 plats pour 15 GBP et 3 plats pour 18 GBP. Dans la soirée, vous profiterez d'un menu complet à la carte comprenant un large éventail de plats innovants et originaux à base des meilleurs produits disponibles. It was good, but not as good as three weeks ago. Where the last time we were given bread and butter this time no bread and butter. We ordered two drinks to start a cremant and glass of white wine, which was warm. it was replaced. We wanted to order water but they did not have any only tap water, I suggested to my wife I should go to Tesco opposite to get some but she would not let me. I had the grouse starter which I have had 3 times before, this time it was very small, luke warm and disappointing, my wife starter was very good, surf and turf of scallops and pork. my roast beef was over cooked and was replaced with a small slice of pink beef, the vegetables on the plate were luke warm. My wife enjoyed her pork belly very much. we had to ask for our wine to be served, on our last visit the wine service was spot on, I would have had a glass of red as I did previously but there was no one to ask. We had desserts but they were nothing special, trying to be clever with a creme brulee with too much burnt sugar and a sponge dessert that seemed to be raw and dense. But we are not dessert lovers anyway. My point is that three weeks ago I left having a fabulous Sunday lunch but today I left disappointed and spent the same amount of money £180. I believe that a good restaurant should be consistent, either bad or good. I normally don't do a review, but you did ask. Sorry to be so negative. I am sure will be return but not with such high expectations as today. Which was because of the excellent meal three weeks ago

Once again - an amazing visit, excellent service, exemplary cuisine and a great atmosphere. The team went above and beyond as always.

Fabulous. Fine dining at its best. Also a lower price lunch menu but we went A la Carte as it was a special celebration. Could not fault it.

First time dining experience for a family celebration and would definitely recommend! The food was absolutely delicious, everyone at our table was blown away by the exquisite presentation, taste and wine parings. The only small gripe we had was that on arrival we waited 10mins to be seated and a further 30mins for drinks to arrive. Nonetheless we had a fabulous time.

As always our lunch was a great experience. The food in this restaurant was amazing. Packed full of flavour, seasonal, local and presented immaculately. Fine dining at a great price.

We had the 3 course lunch offer and it totally surpassed our expectations. Every course was absolutely delicious. Also the service from the whole team from the moment we entered was faultless. Highly recommended !

Excellent value for money . Its great they doing taster menu , which was very varied . Chef was extremely accommodating for my requests . Service was excellent . if any criticism and partly our fault for not asking is during wine flight it’s nice too have bottles brought too the table so we can look at label .. The staff were lovely and food very high standard for the price ..

Great food, fizz was a bit pricey. Service was a bit slow at first but they were very busy. I would highly recommend them even so and will definitely go back
