Welcome to the Chateau Restaurant of Norwood, located on Route One across from the “Auto-Mile”. Since 1933, The Nocera Family has been serving great food, with great service at reasonable prices that keep our customers coming back for more.

Offering classic Italian dishes such as Toasted Ravioli, Chicken Parmigiana and Thin-crust Pizza, as well as Fresh Seafood and Sautee Dishes. Weekly Specials are always on the menu.

Chateau Norwood has many newly renovated dining rooms to provide a warm atmosphere and accommodate any reservation. Large parties are our specialty! Enjoy our separate Dining Lounge that features a comfortable bar, lots of dining tables, extensive wine list and featured drink specials. A perfect place to watch the game on one of the many HDTV’s and play Keno.

    The menu options are plentiful and the price paid for the food is a good value. My party of six waited an unusually long time to order. Once we ordered the food arrived fairly quickly, but generally the service could have been better and they really weren't that busy.

    Had an early dinner before going to the Norwood Theater to see a John Denver Christmas Tribute. The food and service were great.

    Had reservation for 8 with 6 children.. took over an hr to get our food. We know it wasn’t the waiter’s fault, but there was no acknowledgement, updates, nor apologies from management at all. When we got the food, everything was cold and fries were soggy (5 of which were kids meal items so it shouldn’t even have taken so long) Also, please note that the kids meal sides were additional costs (at almost the price of the kids meal itself.) The menu didn’t mention the extra cost, so we were somewhat shocked when the total price of each kids meal was over $20 with 2 sides. The fettuccine Alfredo had clumps of dough and was overcooked. Very disappointed based on the previous reviews on OpenTable.

We understand how important it is for meals, especially for a group with children, to arrive in a timely manner and at the right temperature.     Well, Danielle , our server, was wonderful. However, I ordered French onion soup and it was cold. I sent it back and it was so hot I burned my lip and throat. It never cooled down. NO restaurant should allow this to happen. We don’t plan on returning soon and it’s one of my favorite go to places.

    The Espresso Martini, beer, and wine were all very good. Three people ordered the trio's, one person ordered the lobster ravioli (and said it was excellent) and I stuck with my usual order of a house salad, toasted ravioli and a meatball. The one problem we had, and it was something that I have never run into in the past 65 years of going to Chateau restaurants, was there very little meat sauce served on the orders. I asked the waitress if we could get more, and she immediately brought out enough for everyone. Other than that, everything was very good, and the waitress was excellent.

    The Chateau was definitely a solid choice for my mom's birthday dinner. It was a comfortable setting with lots of room for crowds of all sizes, and a variety of menu options for all palates. Would return!
