Welcome to The Chateau - Franklin. We look forward to serving you! Since 1933 the Nocera Family has owned and operated The Chateau Restaurant of Waltham. The tradition of Italian family dining, friendly service and quality food at reasonable prices has kept our customers coming back over the years. Today, along with the fourth generation, the Nocera Family is proud to serve the Norwood, Stoughton, Andover, Norton, Westboro, Braintree, Burlington and this newest location Franklin (opening in November 2019) communities as well.

First time at The Chateau and it was ok. I ordered the lasagna and disappointed when it arrived. It was lukewarm and was layered pasta and cheese with sauce on top. Not very enjoyable I must say. My husband ordered the bolognese with rigatoni. Again, arrived lukewarm and not much sauce. Will not be returning soon.

We get together at the Chateau for the convenient location and great food. Service is wonderful and the choice of food and pricing can’t be beat.

Food is always great and large helpings. Their bread is not Italian it’s more like store bought at StopnShop. Otherwise everything else is good.

We’ve been there about three or four times took my mother out for her birthday service was extremely slow and the place was pretty much empty. The food was OK nothing to rave about last time. It was excellent the time before that. It was excellent might’ve been an off night, not sure, but we couldn’t get drinks because the waitress never came back seem like she was outback doing something because we couldn’t locate her in the restaurant, Always had good luck there not sure if I’d go back

The waiter was very busy and was unable to be as attentive as we would have liked. Maybe restaurant was short-staffed!?

I have been to many of the Chateaux Restaurants with nothing but great food and service. The Franklin location however was a severe disappointment. Our waitress, Melissa, showed up over 10 minutes after we were seated. She then started off by telling us she hadn't slept for over 30 hours. It was then another 20 minutes before we received water. After we ordered, and another long wait, our soups and salads arrived about 2 minutes before the main corse. Barely enough time to pick up a fork. Broccoli was cold, roasted potatoes were cold and the steak tips were cold. Melissa never came back to check on things, never cleared bread plates or salad plates, never offered coffee or desert and snapped at me after I asked for a check. I am 68 yes old and have NEVER left less than a 20% tip until last night. As bad as things were I still left 15%. I will go back to Chateaux Restaurants but will never go back to the one in Franklin
