The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful. This is the second time I have been and I will certainly go again. I highly recommend The Charles.

This restaurant is so loud you can barely hear yourself think. It was also freezing cold. Our server was not very attentive. She spent a lot of time 15 feet away talking to other servers and workers. My wife’s entrée came out first, mine didn’t come out for 15 minutes and was rather cold. She apologize for the delay, but offered nothing for our time and effort. They say their Italian, I just returned from two weeks in taly… Not so much. The lasagna tasted like they tried to jazz it up or reinvent the dish, it didn’t taste much like lasagna. The pot pie is one of their signature dishes…. They need a new signature. Neither my WIFE or I finished our meals. we just didn’t find them very appetizing or appealing if your 20 to 28 and want to be seen and don’t know good food yet, this is probably a perfect place for you, if you’re a foodie and enjoy ambience that is conducive to an enjoyable dinner this is not the place.

Our evening was amazing! Impeccable service! Food was delicious! Energetic atmosphere but we could still talk and interact.
