Please use Opentable to book tables for food only, for drinks our bar area is first come first served and you can book tables in the garden for drinks on 02086505744. We will serve breakfast sandwiches 10am-12pm daily, Lunch Monday -Saturday 12-3pm and Dinner 5.30-9pm, on Sunday food hours are 12.5.30pm and drinks only in the evening.

Operating since 2014 and providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere unrivalled in the area – with an exceptional seasonal menu and great range of quality beers, ales and handpicked fine wines to accompany it.

Two of us went for Sunday lunch and it was absolutely faultless; amazing grub, brilliant service and very reasonable cost. We will be back this coming Sunday!

Another delicious visit to the Chancery for a roast. The meat was tasty but not pink as requested. A huge portion of veg and tasty gravy along with a great Yorkshire pud! Didn’t disappoint and perfect for a catch up with friends.

Staff at The Chancery are lovely and the food is good. Great selection and quality. Deffo recommend for a pub lunch or Sunday roast.

Disappointed with Haddock burger. It was not to the usual standard. I have ordered before and really enjoyed it but last night the fish was not fresh and appeared to be a small frozen breaded version that had no taste. This is not the quality you expect from a gastro pub. The burger was also served with a yogurt dressing instead of tarter.

I live locally and I do like this pub, but we had a disappointing lunch yesterday. Food was fine, we ordered a mix of burgers, pie and chips. We asked for ketchup and were presented with a pot of pink runny liquid…apparently they had run out of the “nice” ketchup so had watered down the cheap version as they must have been running low. Not ideal when our meal was the kind you usually have ketchup. We asked about it and they explained they didn’t have much left - there is a shop across the road so no idea why they hadn’t run out to buy more. They didn’t really apologise and just looked awkward about it!

The food is amazing there. There is always a warm welcome and extremely great service. I love going there it’s the best in Beckenham
