A family fan restaurant for nearly 50 years, the Cavaliere is famous for our daily fish specials, home-made fresh pasta, our log-fired pizzas, with our tasty Italian style bread, you’ll be spoiled for choice.We have an extensive wine list all personally selected from the vineyards of Italy. We are a second generation family run business – with a strong ethos at heart, to provide excellent food and wines with service to match.

It was really busy but it was Xmas eve. But as always the food and service was fantastic

When shown to a 2 person table only 1 seat and 1 place setting. Was told " someone must have stolen the chair". Offered no water even though water glasses are on the table. Main course my wife ordered a well done steak. When it came it was still pink so we sent it back. My main course was a chicken ham pepperoni pizza. ( can't remember what the restaurant called it). Pizza tasted funny particularly the pepperoni. Couldn't eat it . No we didn't complain. Wife also tried a slice and she also found it a strange taste. Have been to this resturant many times but feel their standards are slipping

We enjoyed a beautiful meal only let down was dessert shop bought meringue. Staff were very polite and friendly would recommend you try it .
