Had a lovely time, the food was delicious and the drinks were fun and tasty. Only issue was the noise level, the music was way too loud for a dining experience.

The vibe was 1000/10. Love the idea behind this place. It’s so cute, and so fun. Cocktail menu was also fun! However, service was less than stellar and food was awful.

Ok let's start with the good....The vibe of the place was totally my style, dark and witchy. The drinks were great and just a really cool experience with some!! I absolutely loved it. The food is where it gets tricky, and it was just ok. I came out for restaurant week with a pre fixe menu which I was extremely excited for. I started with empanadas which I had no idea that they had onions, as it was not mentioned anywhere and not all empanadas are made the same. I have an aversion towards that, so needless to say, they were not edible. For my main I had crab mac and cheese, which left much to be desired. The macaroni barely had any cheese on it and there was hardly any crab in it at all. This was extremely disappointing. For dessert, I got the chocolate mousse which honestly, was the ONLY saving grace for their food menu. Also during restaurant week, which we were not aware of, ONLY the pre fixe menu is available. No happy hour menu, no regular food menu! We had no clue as I went to 2 other places for restaurant week and they gave you a choice of how you wanted to order. You were not required to just use their one menu. So this was just another disappointment as not everyone in my party wanted to eat off of this menu but were basically forced to. We watched 2 other tables walk out before even ordering anything so I think they were just as surprised at this. Ugh, I wish I could say I loved it here but it just wouldn't be true. I would absolutely go back JUST for the atmosphere and drinks. EDIT: I was told I missed the onions in the description of the empanadas on the restaurant week menu. I will update that and will take responsibility for my order. The rest of my review stands.

Hi there, thank you for leaving a review but I'd like to clear a few things up here. One being when you book it clearly states we are doing the restaurant week menu and it is the only menu available . Here is what it says on OpenTable : A note from the restaurant We will be participating in Restaurant Week, which goes from Sunday, September 8th, until Friday, September 20th. We will be offering 3-course pre-fixe menu for $40 per person (at a value of $50 per person). This will be the only menu that is available during this time. Just because other restaurants offer other items during restaurant does not mean we have to that's not how restaurant week works. As for the empanadas 100% clearly state on the menu that there are fried onions . The mac and cheese has a 1/2 of cup of lump crab

Absolutely an amazing experience. We had got to experience the potion making service. Jennifer was our server and she was phenomenal and so personable. The whole team made the experience worth it. Cannot forget the MVP... the unicorn.

The decor was wonderfully on theme, including the background music, which was at a perfectly low volume. Perhaps the acoustics might have been at play for the conversation noise to be a little higher than comfy. The prices were also a bit higher than preferable, but they were participating in restaurant week, so I wonder if the prices were a bit higher in that regard. Service was great, the food was delicious and overall I look forward to enjoying this experience again.

Hi Lynn, Thanks for taking the time to leave a nice review. During Restaurant Week the Center City District who organizes the event throughout the city dictates the prices. As a participating restaurant you have to offer 3 course for 40 or 3 courses for 60. We opted for the 3 courses for 40. This is a value as those same 3 courses would typically be more than $40

We were not informed that it was the restaurant week only menu for dinner so that eliminated all of the things I originally went to try. Three or so choices for each course, none of which interested me. We ultimately just had a drink and a shot and went elsewhere for dinner that night. I would have been perfectly satisfied if they at least still offered the apps from the regular menu listed online and on Open Table - I went for a charcuterie board and brussel sprouts. Unfortunately the seating was also cramped but I did love the drinks and the place has a great vibe! Maybe next time!

Hi Ryan, The majority of restaurants in the city this week every year the same time participate in restaurant week. Although you would have been satisfied if we offered our regular menu as well, the kitchen would not have been as a restaurant week menu is more difficult to execute and then to add additional items to that would clog up the kitchen and service. Leaving a one star review for food is a little unfair considering you didn't have any food but thanks for visiting and writing a review !

Slow, mediocre service for things as simple as salt and pepper; overpriced and bland food. Would not return.

Went early on a Saturday, got seated quickly, our server was very attentive, was new to the job but very good. We ordered our first round of drinks and I got the blob, which looks pretty but tastes like a jolly rancher, the smoked drink that someone had at our table was very good , I then tried a regular martini and it was made with sweet vermouth- after sending it back 2x they figured out their mistake- I think 90% of the staff is new- our food came out next, which obviously is not the reason anyone would go there but 3 of the people were served and I wanted another 5 minutes for my ceaser salad….. the atmosphere was ok, I think I was expecting a little more than one picture with moving eyeballs. For 4 people, 200 and some change for so so drinks and food, I felt was overpriced- but I’m sure some people would find it entertaining- the last annoying thing was, I forgot my bag there and got a phone call from the restaurant saying to call back- but the restaurant does not take phone calls of any kind! I tried the chat option and still 3 days later they have not responded…glad I didn’t have an emergency.
