At the Cartford Inn, we offer a brand of hospitality that is truly unique, hallmarked by an award-winning restaurant, boutique hotel, delicatessen and art gallery. Our location is enviable, with guests able to enjoy panoramic views of the Ribble Valley and Fylde countryside whilst dining. Our décor is quirky and eclectic, in keeping with our building’s 17th century heritage, but with a modernist twist.

Of course the main attraction is our 2-Rosette winning, Michelin recommended restaurant. Run by head chef Chris Bury, we offer the finest quality food without the fuss, in an atmosphere that is warm and unpretentious. Expect a discernible French influence, evidenced by our renowned French onion soup – a dish that is well worth a visit in its own right.

Well looked after from the minute we walked through the door . Food as usual was outstanding. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone

The Cartford inn never fails to impress Fantastic food and fantastic staff in particular a young gentleman called Oliver an absolute credit to the place what a lovely helpful boy We will return again and again we couldn’t recommend the place highly enough xx

The dining areas were very good plenty of room and privacy , loved the outside garden rooms , the food was exquisite very good , the staff were friendly and helpful , definitely going again very relaxing and enjoyable

Our 6th visit. Awesome experience. Its a beautiful location. Staff are very knowledgeable. They understand their clientelle and always make sure we have a first class experience. The parsley mash was heavenly, as was the saint emilion grand cru

Perfect location for a birthday meal. We had to change plans last minute and managed to book in at The Cartford Inn. Everything about it was stunning; location, food and ambience, we couldn’t have chosen better. The food was outstanding and staff were professional and knowledgeable.

Lovely setting, very polite staff. The main course of Roast Beef was delicious although could have been hotter, it was only just warm enough. Apart from that everything was great.

Food was fantastic. Staff are excellent. Only thing was not a great choice of vegetarian dishes. But I still found excellent meal . Would definitely recommend the French onion soup.
