   Lovely meal again at the Cartford Inn. We’re not that local but this is our 3rd visit in the last few months, it’s worth the trip!

   Very enjoyable meal. My partner particularly liked the French onion soup.would recommend.

   We have eaten at the Cartford Inn a number of times but last night was particularly outstanding. The French onion soup is always good, delicious with plenty of cheese and bread. The main course of lamb was outstanding with a delicious veg selection and the dessert of Tanka bean rice pudding with carrot halva was outstanding (my mouth is watering as I write this). That coupled with friendly and attentive staff made the whole experience delightful. We will definitely be returning soon. Five stars well deserved. My compliments to the chef.

   The staff were great, very helpful and welcoming. The food came quickly and it was delicious. We shared the small plates and starters which was lovely as we could all have a taste and have a variety. The mains were also very tasty. My husband had the Chargrilled pork chop, which he said was one of the best he had ever had. Myself and our son had the Sichuan Atlantic bream with noodles. I would highly recommend this, a delicious plate of food. We will definitely be back soon.

   We booked a table inside without children, on arrival we were shown promptly and pleasantly to our beautiful table by the window with views over the river and green marshes. Wonderful. Menu was delicious and had difficulty deciding. Wine list also was well put together. I really like the chocolate box idea and tried. Everything together made for a wonderful evening. Thank you we would definitely visit again

   Fabulous kitchen, great wine list. Attentive and helpful staff with prompt & polite service. What’s there not to like? Ignore the negative reviews half of them never ate there, the others would be better off at the local chippy. This is haute cuisine. Parfaite.
