The Carriage House Restaurant in Burlington has been a favourite with locals and visitors for the past 15 years.

Whether a business dinner, a group function in one of our private rooms, a special occasion or a night out with your favourite person the ambiance, food and service are sure to impress.

The menu focuses on fresh seafood and steak. Service was great ! Beef Wellington was amazing. Credit to the chef. We have been before and enjoy the ambiance . Food is a little overpriced. They should really include potatoes with your meal. The fact that you have to pay for a small bowl of potatoes is a little ridiculous. Potatoes are so cheap. That’s the only complaint we have. All in all it was a great meal.

We decided to have steak as it was a signature. We asked for our tenderloin to be medium and there was no pink. This is not medium. Staff offered to redo our steaks but we wanted to eat with our other tables guest and not wait. Cesar salad was excellent! I was disappointed that the accompaniment for the steak was French fries and no vegetables. The server did say it would come with « frites ». Which I imagined something different than something that looked like « McCain » frozen fries. We had an excellent server. I did ask if there was vegetables with my steak when I ordered and she said no but that I did have salad. So I did know not to expect vegetables. We thought the ambiance was beautiful There was three people in line for the ladies washroom we were upstairs so a single bathroom. I did sit down as I felt funny waiting in the hallway. We were sat right away when we arrived that was nice our reservation was for 6:30pm

Food was excellent . Service was a bit slow but it was New Year’s Eve so not in a hurry.

Carriage House is as consistent a restaurant as there is. Every dish is good to very good. The sea bass was definitely the dish of the night. Thanks for another great dinner.

Lobster Fettucini was a lot of sumptuous food with a lot of lobster meat. Good service for a new years eve.

A wonderful finish to a family weekend celebrating the holidays.. we arrived somewhat underdressed and they were gracious not to notice/ mention .. a wide range of foods was ordered and all were very good..

carriage house never fails to deliver! katya was an exceptional server and the food was sublime. the kitchen makes my 2 boys the best off-the-menu fish ‘n’ chips in southern ontario!
