Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. We are regulars for three good reasons: the food is excellent, the staff is wonderful and management is present and concerned for the happiness of the guests. Oh...good variety of food too.

I’ve given it 3 tries and the manager was kind enough to bring me back and give me a gift card but unfortunately we ordered seafood platter and half of it was frozen solid.

Celebrated our anniversary and everything was fantastic. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Service was great! Will be back!

I had dinner with my daughter at Capital Grille Skokie on Friday, September 6, 2024 from approximately 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. We sat at the bar for drinks, then dinner. Our bartender, Chris, was polite, courteous, friendly and efficient. Everything about the evening was excellent. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at the bar; we enjoyed the drinks, and then we enjoyed our dinner also while seated at the bar. We shared crabmeat cocktail, a lobster & crabcake, lobster macaroni & cheese, a caesar salad, and a bone in New York Strip steak. Chris brought us three different dipping sauces for our steak. Dinner was great.

We went for lunch to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was great. Food, service, location and ease of parking were all excellent. My wife had the Tuna and I had the ribeye. Both were delicious. It was our first time here but we will be back!

We were celebrating our son’s 30th bday. The restaurant could not have been better. When we arrived, the table was decorated. A birthday card was at the table, we were offered, at no charge, glasses of champagne for a toast and a bday dessert. Our server, Erica, was attentive and helpful. All in all, we enjoyed the evening.
