Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. Tasty but not extraordinary . The prices are very high so be ready if you have a drink or 2.. $300 for 2 people No dessert or appetizer… One soup. Good service , nice place

Our waitress Alicia was the best. Andrew the manager is also a class act. Food great as usually expected from a Capital Grill. Been to many in other states. I rank this one as one of the best.

They gave us the wrong table that said Happy Anniversary instead of Happy Birthday. The French onion soup was cold and steak was med rare not cooked. I asked for it to be medium and butterflied. The server was amazing and overall loved the restaurant but they need to fix the little things.

It was a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and nice. Alicia was very attentive. I found my filet and lobster to be on the salty side and served a big bowl? We are frequent diners of the capital Grille and really enjoy it. So glad it finally came to Newtown and it’s very close to our home. Welcome to Newtown Capital Grille!

This new Capital Grill location has only been open two weeks but you'd never know it. The wait staff was professional and attentive. Our server, when asked, stated this was her first experience with "fine dining". Again, you'd never know - seemed like she had been doing this for years! The atmosphere is refined and casual clothing is discouraged. Valet parking is quick and free. The food was just exceptional. Having very recently dined at Gallagher's in NYC, one of the city's best steakhouses, the new Capital Grill is on this level. Great steaks, one of best crab meat cocktails ever, mashed potatoes to die for and good drinks and deserts. Being a "birthday dinner" we were somewhat amazed to see the table strewn with birthday metallic confetti and a free glass of champagne was offered to all of us. At the conclusion of dinner a very nice multi desert arrangement was offered to the celebrant. I have never seen this level of birthday acknowledgement offered anywhere. This is fine dining and the prices reflect that but are in line with the level of service and superb food offered. Will definitely be back. A great place for a special dinner or celebration.

Our party of 5 really enjoyed our first experience and meal at Capital Grille in Newtown! Our server, Alisha, and assistant server, Brianne, were outstanding and attentive. Food was prepared and delivered perfectly between courses. Steaks cooked to perfection. Desserts nicely presented. Chocolate flourless cake and coconut cream pie were our favorites. Will definitely be returning!

What a great evening at The Capital Grille Newtown. The food and service were impeccable. Such a beautiful ambiance as well. Angellina did a great job serving us.
