Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. First time coming and service was top notch. Since it was Valentine’s Day, they handed a courtesy glass of champagne and a single rose. Service was great. Tomahawk was very tender but could if had a little more seasoning. Cesar Salad was AMAZING. Creamed spinach was good. Calamari needed a sauce, I settled for ranch but would try crab cake the next time. Overall, enjoyed the night, the service, and would return.

I’m mean, it was okay. For that money though, would much rather go to Boa or STK or something. Everything was fine, but that was it. Just fine. Food lacked seasoning and heart. Just no passion in any of it.

My husband and I had a decent Valentine’s Day dinner. The food was delicious. However, our waitress, Connie, could have done better to make us feel comfortable. There were a handful of little moments where we felt she was condescending. What took it over the edge for us was when we requested a dessert menu and she had the audacity to ask if we were sure! Maybe she thought we couldn’t afford to eat here, but we work absolutely hard for our money and we wanted to splurge some place that usually has high reviews especially since this was our first date night in a long time without our 3 kids. Overall, we didn’t let her ruin our night and we still enjoyed ourselves.

Capital Grill never disappoints. Food is consistent and service amazing. Brittany was attentive and on it!

This is my second visit to Capitol Grill. The steak was so good as expected and the service was more than expected. I hope to come back soon.

The bartender (Ricky) was amazing in his customer service skills. He whipped us up two delicious drinks and then even came to check on us on how our meal was. We were sitting at a table not the bar. Very friendly staff.

We had a wonderful experience—our best in LA. The ambiance was quite, retrospective-cool, upscale-but not snobby. The location was in the heart of DTLA. We received the best service ever in LA. All the staff were polite, professional, and attentive. They were not boorish or pretentious. They liked to do their jobs well and they executed. The food was priced much better than comparable plates at other restaurants, and it was delicious. The staff listened to our requests and nailed everything with perfect timing and execution. We had a great time, and we are already planning a return visit. We highly recommend it
