Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. My wife and I were celebrating our 28th anniversary. The Capital Grille made our special day even more special. Our hosts and server made our dining experience exceptional. I would highly recommend the chef's recommendations. My wife ordered the roasted beet and goat cheese salad with crushed pistachios and citrus vinaigrette, and slice filet mignon with cipollini onions, wild mushrooms and fig essence. I ordered the wedge with bleu cheese and smoked bacon, and porcini rubbed bone-in ribeye with 15 year aged balsamic. We also ordered sides, soy-glazed brussels sprouts with bacon, and roasted wild mushrooms. Did we order too much food? Absolutely! The portions are very generous and everything was amazing. If you want to order one side, the soy-glazed brussels sprouts with bacon is a must. My wife and I want to thank The Capital Grille for a wonderful evening.

The entire dinner was wonderful. Our waitress, Alexander (Alex), was absolutely amazing and so engaged throughout our dining experience. She guided us through the options as well as recommended favorites. This will be the only Capital Grille I will visit in the DMV and I’ll be sure to ask for Alex BY NAME (yes, she was that good)!

Our go-to for special occasions and it never disappoints, especially with Jaqueline as our server. Desean was awesome too. Food was fabulous, as always. I think the margarita is expensive compared to other drinks but it was delicious.

My date and I both had the Filet and it was cooked to perfection and delicious. The whole experience could not have been better!

Well first, it’s the Capital Grille so there is a certain expectation. And I have not had them miss that expectation ever. Today was just a casual lunch with a client and everything was perfect steak (petite fillet) was a perfect medium rare. They gave me a steak knife, but it could’ve been cut with my butter knife. Spinach and Caesar salad were both right on target. Service was outstanding, as always. There are a lot of places to get an upscale lunch, but Capital Grille is upscale of upscale.
