Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. My date and I both had the Filet and it was cooked to perfection and delicious. The whole experience could not have been better!

I very much enjoyed the meal. I notified the staff that the reservation was for an anniversary and they made the event special. Looking forward to coming back!

Well first, it’s the Capital Grille so there is a certain expectation. And I have not had them miss that expectation ever. Today was just a casual lunch with a client and everything was perfect steak (petite fillet) was a perfect medium rare. They gave me a steak knife, but it could’ve been cut with my butter knife. Spinach and Caesar salad were both right on target. Service was outstanding, as always. There are a lot of places to get an upscale lunch, but Capital Grille is upscale of upscale.

Fairfax Cap Grille never disappoints and gets better every time we go. The food is great, but what distinguishes the Fairfax Cap Grille above other Cap Grilles and above the high end steak house genre in general is the service. Every one from the receptionists to the bar staff and the dining room are friendly, customer-first employees. A quality missing in many fine restaurants today. This is a testament to great management.

Always enjoy the visit! Ive been to other locations but this is my favorite location when it comes to the ambience, food and service!
