Chef Collaborative Series

The Chef Collaborative Series at Café Carnegie celebrates the diverse and vibrant culinary scene in Pittsburgh. Chef Dana Patton is originally from Youngstown, Ohio, where she started in the culinary world working at a banquet center during high school. Chef Patton recently joined the Inn on Negley team as Sous Chef, where she has been collaborating on fresh new breakfast, brunch and high tea menus. Prior to the Inn, she worked in corporate dining in the Strip District. Prior to that, she worked at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh for 8 years in a variety of roles

Nice atmosphere, pleasant after visiting after the museum. A bit loud for conversation. Recommend varying the menu from time to time or perhaps a special offering. Servers are pleasant.

Loved sitting outside by the fountain, so refreshing on a summer day. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the waiter, John, was terrific.

Had a lovely Pinot Grigio and a perfectly cooked Salmon Salad out on the patio. Beautiful setting, attentive service, all around great experience. Will be back.

Another exceptional dining experience at the Cafe Carnegie! I love this place. The menus are creative but accessible, the food is perfectly prepared, and the service is reliably great. My only regret is that I’m usually too full from cleaning my plate to have dessert!

Was there for a quick lunch. Had the burger and it was excellent. Love the fries and the service is always attentive and friendly. Overall, a fantastic experience for lunch.

Horrible/inedible food. Old/inedible bread, old/inedible bacon, horrible chicken special. Food used to be edible there, but it has been inedible for the last few months (n=4 in the last 2-3months). Hope things change soon.
