The Butchers Tale presents a fresh approach to the culinary world of artisanal meats brining back favorites and introducing new tangy, melt-in-your-mouth options including, Wagyu beef, double-cut smoked pork chops, smoked beef long rib, grilled oysters and other extensive seafood offerings.

    We had the best meal! Our sever Patuu was amazing!! We started with Old Fashioned cocktails, one regular, one banana bread. Both were great! The Ceasar salad had a perfect amount of dressing and cheese! We had the A5 wagyu was cooked perfectly. The mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and Brussels were all delicious as well. If we are ever in Minneapolis again, we will make it a point to have dinner here!

    Thoroughly enjoyable evening. The entire experience was great. The food met our expectations. I had to flag the waiter for longer than expected a coupla times but they divvied up the oversize desserts for us when we were concerned we might have issues doing so. (Geezers) Going the extra mile was highly appreciated.

    The food was delicious, and presentation wonderful. Ribeye steak cooked to perfection, decadent sides very flavorful (truffle mac & cheese was v good). Drinks were also a delight, the banana bread old fashioned was quite yummy. Get the chocolate cake - amazing! Portions are large; we ended up bringing quite a bit home as leftovers. The restaurant is nice inside. Beautiful chandeliers, warm wood decor, TONS of fresh flowers everywhere. Open kitchen and you can smell the smoke from the meats (delicious!). Was a bit on the loud side, so hard to have a conversation with my partner, but can be expected on a busy Friday night.

    Great place. Our table order the Australian Waygu, chicken and Waygu burger. Everything was great. Service was very good.

    The pork chop was great, but was almost obnoxiously large, and the filet mignon was perfectly cooked. We ordered asparagus as a side and it was good, the food and drink overall was really good. If you’re looking for an intimate location for a date night this is not the place based on the lighting and table locations are very close together.

    Absolutely a Fantastic Experience. I’m a “Foodie” and this was amazing. We are empty nesters and were able to get my kids together to celebrate an early Father’s Day.We shared multiple appetizers, main dishes,deserts and many cocktails. The service was wonderful. The staff all work together. The water glasses were constantly filled. The smoke on the pork chop was amazing!
